How to Convert Files DXL to PST?

Domino XML (extensible) Language i.e. DXL, it is a reparation in XML by IBM’s Lotus Notes Software Domino data & design. Domino is a program which runs on server for Lotus Notes and which is used by different business as a groupware application. It allows users to add data and structural components to the database and share their email with any application.

Three main applications which are secondary for DXL file type:

Domino (XML File) by IBM, which we discussed in previous paragraph.

Methods for How to open DXL file?

Method 1: Open file with an exact program

Note: This method will only applicable, if you know that installed application can open the file.

Step 1: Go to Control Panel and select Default Programs like DXL File Viewer.

Step 2: choose Associate a file type or Protocol with a specific program.

Step3: Now select the file extension which you want to conjoin & click on Change Program.

Step4: Click on browse, if you want any other application and then click on OK.

Method 2: By restoring your system

If you did some changes in your system and you can’t open your DXL file then this method will work for you. In this technique, you need to a reset your system on previous point.

Note: Make a backup before restoring at previous point.

Method 3: Sometimes old versions can’t support those files which are generated with the latest versions of program. So install the latest version of application avoid this kind of issues.

Method 4: Malwares can be also a reason behind this issue. To remove this issue, scan the whole system and get rid from malware.
