Introduction to Mspst32.dll File

Mspst32.dll file is configuration file of Outlook that helps users to access Outlook easily. It allows users to start Microsoft Outlook in Safe Mode.

Sometimes when user open MS Outlook but due to some reason it gets freeze then user try to open Outlook in Safe Mode but the problem arises when user not able to access Outlook in Safe Mode too.

The reason behind unavailability of Safe Mode in Outlook is due to damage and corruption of mspst32.dll file. There are many reasons that create problem while accessing Outlook in Safe Mode; in next paragraph we will discuss the same.

Reasons that Resist users to Start Outlook in Safe Mode

1. When the size of PST files exceeds its defined limit which causes overloading of PST files that may corrupt PST files

2. When mspst32.dll file is missing or deleted it creates problem accessing Outlook in Safe Mode

3. When registry files are corrupted or damaged it resist users to open Outlook in Safe Mode

4. If client application is not installed properly, i.e Outlook is not installed in systematic manner in the system

5. If Outlook is not terminated in systematic way then system file may get corrupted

6. When PST files are highly corrupted, it does not allow users to start Outlook in Safe Mode

How to Remove Errors from mspst32.dll

Mspst32.dll file allows users to access Microsoft Outlook in Safe Mode when it is crashed. When there is a problem in the .dll file itself then Outlook freezes in Safe Mode.

User can remove errors from mspst32.dll file in very easy manner. It can be done with the help of manual method as well as by third party tool.

The problem arises in mspst32.dll file when there is a damage or corruption in PST files. User can get rid of these errors by following simple solutions given below.

Manual Solutions

Solution 1: By scanning PST files using free scanpst.exe utility. It is also known as Inbox repair tool can repair corrupted PST files.

Procedure:

1. Close the Outlook

2. Search scanpst.exe file in computer by using search box (Location depends on different version of Outlook)

3. Double click on scanpst.exe file and browse the corrupted PST file

4. Then Click Start button to begin scanning PST file

Using this procedure one can remove error from mspst32.dll file

Solution 2: By renaming the mspst32.dll file

Procedure:

1. Close Outlook if it is running in the background

2. Open the search utility and select the file folder

3. Enter mspst32.dll in search dialog and initiate the search

4. When searching is completed, locate outcmd.dat

5. Click the mspst32.dll and rename the file

6. Rename the file .dll to .old

7. Press Enter

8. Close the dialog box

9. Start Outlook again

Solution 3: Restoring the system for fixing mspst32.dll error

Procedure:

1. Type System Restore in the search bar.

2. The new window will display on the screen, select ‘Restore my computer to an earlier date option

3. Then click on Next button.

4. Select the most recent System Restore Point from the list

5. Click Next on the upcoming window.

6. Your computer will restart automatically and the process will now finish.

User may also choose third party tool to remove errors from mspst32.dll file so that they can access the Outlook in Safe Mode. Outlook Recovery software is a can be used for recovering the PST files in efficient manner. The tool has many qualitative features that make it apt from the same problem. Its advance scanning can recover corrupt Outlook PST file and as well as recover hard deleted items.

By using above mentioned solution user can open Outlook in Safe Mode using mspst32.dll file.
