As mobile apps have become an integral part of our daily lives, more and more mobile application development experts are capitalizing on this mobile dependence of consumers. The app market is also getting competitive on almost daily basis and hence app developers are always under pressure to develop and deploy apps within limited timeframe. But out of that development time only 29 percent is spent by them on front-end development. Rest 70 percent is in fact spent on design work, integration, testing and security.

Here is a list of third-party tools that will help bring down the efforts of mobile application development specialists spent on back-end work while developing mobile applications:

Beta Testing

Beta testing highlights one of the most popular sayings – Prevention is better than cure. Prior to the launch of your app it is very important to understand and eliminate the susceptibilities from it. There are tools like Ubertesters, TestFlight, Hockey App to help you with this task.

User analytics

As businesses are struggling hard to get customer loyalty, they are looking for ways to get creative and provide their customers with personalized user experience with the help of customized messages. For that they need to study customer behaviour and buying patterns. Hence, user analytics is a key feature that developers need to integrate in their apps. Flurry, Mixpanel, Heap, etc. are some tools that could be of help.

Push notification

Push notification is a very sought-after feature of enterprise apps which can be utilized to send customized messages based on the data collected with user analytics feature and provide customers with personalized user experience. Developing this feature right up from the ground could be very time-taking. PushBot, Push Woosh, Parse Push etc. are some tools for you to give a try.

Automated App Testing

Although everything related to mobile app testing cannot be automated but there are aspects such as performance testing, load testing, etc. that can be automated. You can leverage tools like Apkudo, Appurify, MonkeyTalk etc. and automate your mobile app testing process.

Crash and Performance monitoring

All the efforts invested in mobile app development will go in vain if proper efforts are not put in constant app monitoring to manage and avoid crashes. Crash and performance monitoring is very crucial to the success of your app, hence make use of tools such as App Annie, AppFigures, Bugsense, etc.

Hope this list enables you to reduce your time and efforts put in certain areas of mobile app development. Please feel free to share with us your list of tools.

Nice article! Another tool you might consider for "User Analytics" is Appsee. They provide qualitative analytics, which gives you the visual data behind your numbers. It's a very useful tool.
