Nowadays, people are utilizing their tablet PCs to their fullest potential as an entertainment console. The apps available for download have made it possible for users to go all out with using their devices. You do not need to go to a vendor that has all the accessories like the iPad charging station to get these apps, as most of them are available for free to be downloaded directly into your mobile device.

For couch potatoes and TV addicts, the tablet PC has given them another venue to celebrate the TV shows they love. If you can’t seem to get enough of a TV show, then your tablet PC can give you a more interactive fix of its characters, catchphrases, and other special features.

Here are some of the TV show apps that you can check out for your tablet PC.
Mythbusters ($2.99)
The app, like the show is entertaining and informative. The app mostly centers on its Twitter and Facebook accounts, wherein the fans can post comments and send in questions and suggestions. There are also videos clips of episodes. There are 3 games that you can play to test your myth-busting skills. For the games alone, I think this app is an entertaining one, especially for the show’s fans.
Glee ($2.99)
This app will let you sing along to the songs that you can find in the series. There are 3 songs included and the rest you can download for $.99 each. If you don’t have a great singing voice, you can use the pitch correction and automatic harmonies so you would not be so ashamed to upload your rendition and let the whole world hear.

For those with singing aspirations, this is a great app. Of course, Gleeks would gladly spend cash for anything that would make their iPads Gleek-tastic, including this app and other accessories like an iPad charging station and Apple thunderbolt cable for faster file transferring, especially if it would let them spend time with Finn, Rachel, Quinn, and Kurt.
Food Network Nighttime (Free)
Foodies will surely love to have this app on their device. You can download recipes from their extensive database; watch clips and behind the scenes of your favorite Food Network shows. It also lists the latest schedule for you to catch up on your favorite shows. Since the app is free, fans won’t have any excuse not to enjoy it.
MTV’s Jersey Shore City Guide ($.99)
This will help you get around the city of this famous show. Get to party in the stars’ favorite clubs and hangouts. Dine in their preferred restaurants. Since this app is Foursquare compatible, you can announce to the world that you are living the Jersey Shore life. For an app that’s based on a rather trashy show, it is actually quite helpful.
InHouse (Free)
Fans of this hit TV series would want to have this app on their devices as you will find a lot of extra content related to the series. There are behind the scene footages, photos and even join in the weekly contests.
These apps will make you wish you will never have to have a defective iPad charging station so you can enjoy them without any interruption.
