New media CVs increase the chance of getting a new job

New technologies and the Internet have changed the life of the people in many ways, some of them yet inconceivable. With these tools, people can innovate and be creative.

So, why not use your imagination and technology to try to get a job? This is what is happening in the cloud. The traditional CV on paper is being replaced by new forms of media CV.

Even though it seems that paper is irreplaceable, here are four new forms of presenting a CV:

1.Video CV

This is becoming one of the best ways to make a CV. It is original and imaginative.

However, it must be really good if you want to have chance at getting the job of your dreams.

Keep in mind that by paper you have the opportunity to hide the flaws that you want, but a video shows all that you are, your way of thinking, your way of speaking and even your movements.

So how you use it determines whether it becomes something useful or to the contrary.

It has to reflect your skills, aptitude, ability and talent. But this is really hard to achieve. This is why a video CVs has more risk than a paper CV.

Another issue could be the quality of the video. If it is made by yourself with the camera on your mobile phone, it would probably look like a botched job.

If you really want to make a professional video CV, one option is to speak to a professional production company like Seveer. The professionals can make your video CVs into the perfect one. They can give you advice and make it looks totally qualified.

2.Infographic CV

Another interesting idea is to make an infographic CV. It is funny and visual but it also has risks: not everybody likes funny ideas and some just prefer the traditional CV.

It depends on the company that you are applying to. It is best designed for creative sectors like graphic design. This is the perfect option to show you’re artistic and clever.

3.Six seconds of CV

Some people are using Vine, the mobile application owned by Twitter. This app let people create videos of six seconds of time.

This idea was promoted by the unemployed journalist Dawn Siff and the result could not be better as she got a job thanks to her idea.

After her, more people take her idea and use it to make their own Vine CVs.

The disadvantage is that in six seconds you cannot tell too much about your experience or yourself.

4.CVs on presentations

Platforms like Prezi have become more popular in time. That is the reason why, nowadays, it is used to create personal CVs.

It is another original idea. It is dynamic and avoids the boredom of a traditional CV on paper.

Prezy offers a lot of different formats and it is really easy to make an interesting CV on it.

Even though all this ideas are really good to show your personality and your skills, some people find it dangerous as it could seem you are not serious.

The truth is that more and more people are creating their own video CVs as a media alternative. Some of them are really famous on the Internet and lots of people have got a job thanks to their ingenuity. Inspire yourself and make your own creative media CV.
