Cubot P9 Design, Battery, Connectivity and Camera

I was waiting to buy Cubot P9 since I heard of its launch. I had read a lot about it being a user friendly phone. Even though the phone cost just $95 I wanted to make sure I got a product well worth the money I spent. I have to say the phone is worth the value I spent. The highlighting point of this phone is that it supports the latest android jelly beans. Moreover the compatibility of the phone is good. It also has a 4.2 Operating System.

I have used the phone for a good 20 days and this is what I have to say about its features.



Let’s start with the Design

Cubot P9 has a 5.0 inch screen size which is quiet good especially when you’re looking for a wider screen for your phone. Overall look wise Cubot P9 looks very similar to Samsung Galaxy S4. It is a bit longer and slightly thicker. The controls on the phone are very similar to most phones. The power button is on the right side of the phone. You can adjust your phone volume by buttons available on the left side of the phone. It has a headphone connector at the top.



Battery Life

Overall the battery life of the phone is good. It has a 1 x 2200mAh battery. Even after watching YouTube videos and downloading applications I still had a battery life of 30% left which is quiet good.

Connectivity

Cubot P9 has instant connectivity. It has good fast Wi-Fi signal. The phone has not lost connection at least since I bought it and seems to be running smoothly. Cubot P9 also has a Bluetooth feature.

Sound

Cubot P9 has very good sound. It is more like a loud speaker whereby you can enjoy YouTube Videos and listen to your favorite music.

Performance

I was able to install games without any problems. Also the performance of the phone did not slow down even while playing such high graphic games.

The touch screen of the phone is also very good. A clear and vibrant screen makes the phone very responsive. I found the performance of the phone as good as some of the top mobile phones in the market.



Camera

Cubot P9 has a dual camera. It has 2.0MP front camera and back camera of 8.0MP. It also has a flashlight upto 3264 x 2448 pixels resolution. I was however a bit disappointed with the back camera. Although it says 8.0MP I still found it to be around 5.0MP. The picture quality was average for me. May be it could have been a little better as far as camera is concerned. However you can still consider it a great buy for the price you paid for it.



Pricing and Conclusion

You can easily buy your phone from Gearbest.com at an affordable price. I am happy with my purchase as I did not have to pay a heavy price to buy a phone with such great features. I would definitely recommend Cubot P9 to people who want to buy a good phone at an affordable price.
