Growing Use of Mobile Application Testing Services

Mobile applications have become a rave among youngsters and they want to have every application that is available. These applications are developed by Mobile Application Developers and they test these on different devices to check the functionality before they are available for all. These application are pre installed or can be installed from mobile software distribution systems.
The key challenges in mobile application testing are variety on mobile devices, these devices comes in different sizes, and shapes and have different capabilities. Second is diversity in mobile platforms such as Android, IOS, Symbian, Windows phone and Blackberry. Different mobile network operators: CDMA, GSM each network operator us other network operator and limits the flow of information. Last but not the least is Scripting - the single script does not function on every mobile.
Different types of Mobile Application Testing are:
Functional: It ensures whether the application is functioning as decided and information flow is correct or not.
Laboratory: In this process, it is formed in the completely wireless connection. If it has any glitches will be treated there only.
Performance: This is a very necessary step as it ensures whether it functions in low battery, bad network or other in case of hardware issues.
Memory Leakage: In this phase, it checks whether the computer program is not able to manage the memory available in the devices.
Interrupt: This is to check whether they have any interrupting issues in between the application so that it can be treated as per the requirements.
Cloud Application Testing is testing in general which includes product testing and product service monitoring. High cost per test, large number of test cases and little use of tests and geographical distribution. Cloud testing is very effective as it ensures high cost involved in it and testing firewalls and load balancers which involve expenditure in hardware, software and its maintenance. Similarly, load testing involves test heavy user traffic and measuring its response. The constant monitoring helps in identifying the cause and solution to it.
Business application testing involves testing of an app from the point of view whether it will generate revenue for the company and people would like the appearance, entire functioning and other things involved in it. This produces a feedback for the developer as well so that he can modify the application as per user’s requirement.
