Learn & Build your first application on Groovy and Grails - Image 1
Groovy is an agile and dynamic language build upon the capabilities of Java and can seamlessly integrate with all existing java classes and libraries. It provides the ability to statically type check and statically compile your code for robustness and performanace. Groovy supports Domain-Specific Languages and other compact syntax so your code becomes easy to read and maintain.

There are very few online courses available on Groovy, but the one mentioned below is the one and only one self-learning course available.
The course gives an introduction to Groovy Platform, Installation and teach you how to develop an Groovy application by parsing an XML file, testing the application, working with RESTful API's and querying & updating data into a database.

Grails is an Open Source, full stack, web application framework for the JVM. It uses Groovy programming language and convention over configuration to provide a highly productive and stand-alone development environment.

Like Groovy, there are only 2 e-Learning courses that teach you Grails and are self-paced.
This course provides a basic insight into Grails web application framework, understanding how grails work (installing grails, setting up the server, Database Migrations, groovy server pages, grails security) and building an full fledged application using grails.

This course can be taken in addition to the above course "Groovy Fundamentals" under a subscription plan.
