No matter whatever the reason is there are two ways to erase all content and settings from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod directly from your device, or from iTunes. With both of these methods you can delete music, messages, videos, photos, apps, emails, contacts everything from your device.

Erase all content and settings directly from your iPhone

It is quickest and easiest way to delete everything from your device.


Step 1: Firstly you need to Go to the Settings > General > Reset.

Step 2: Then you need to Select Erase All Content and Settings. If your device is passcode enabled, then you need to ask to type it.

Step 3: Then a message will warn you to delete all media and data and reset all settings. Then you need to Tap on the Erase iPhone to confirm.

Step 4: Then you need to Go back to iTunes and click on Restore iPhone again.

Step 5: A message will get displayed that asks you to back up your device. If you do, then select Back Up. If not, then select Donât Back Up.

Step 6: Then you will get a final warning similar: Are you sure you want to restore the iDevice to its factory settings? All of your media and other data will be erased. If youâre sure to remove all the data then click on Restore.
