All this at often a fraction of the cost of previous methods.

With better recording technology, better mixing software, and better editing techniques available (check out Pro Tools and drool), new pathways are being forged in adding music and sound effects to books as well. This leads to a whole new dimension of appreciation that people are amazed with.
