Little tricks to free up iPhone space

Hi guys. Last mouth I just got a new iPhone 6s 16GB and a few days later iOS 9.1 released. As a faithful Apple fan, I absolutely would upgrade my iPhone 6s to iOS 9.1. But since I got the new iPhone I studied a lot about its new features like live photo. It was the funniest one so that I record so many live photos. Soon I found my iPhone storage space was filled with live photos! There was no enough space for iOS 9.1! But I really don’t want to deleted my very first-time live photos! Luckily I found some methods to free up iPhone space. And iOS 9.2 is going to release. Now I want to share some little tricks for every iPhone users who have the same problem with me.

1. Turn off keeping normal photo when taking HDR photo

Many iPhone users may find their album have duplicate photos. That’s because iPhone will save two photos in one shoot. One normal and one HDR. But most of iPhone users just want to keep the HDR one. So turn off this feature, you can save 50% photo space.

2. Set iMessage to delete messages regularly

Messages take much space too especially GIF, photo and video messages. You can delete them manually or set deleting messages regularly. Remember to back up your important messages.

3. Remove unneeded apps

Sometimes you may download much apps which seems interesting but you hardly use. Apps take much space some remove those unneeded you can release plenty of iPhone space.

4. Clear mass cache data

You may not use much apps but some apps are really occupying much storage space. The cache files created by apps should be blamed. But for the current iOS we are not able to clean up mass cache files manually because wrong deletion is common and it may cause the system crashed.

5. Free up iPhone space without deletion
