   Hi Kevine,
   
   I also using iPhone 4s with 8GB memory. Due to less memory sometime my phone also works slow. If i delete the temporary using apps by double click the home button, it work speed compare to before.
   
   So it is all about your memory usage, just try to clear cache under settings as well.
