iPhone 5S On its Way Soon?

Feels like the iPhone 5S just got releases, doesnât it? Well, it sort of just did. It started officially shipping out to customers on the 21st of September, as a matter of fact. And it terms of technology and how fast it moves and evolves, that might as well be an eternity.

Apple has been known to release new models of its long-loved smartphone every six months or so, so it makes sense that a new model would be coming out in Q1 or Q2 or 2013. Will it follow suit with the iPhone 3 and iPhone 4 where there will be another S model? Well, if a new iPhone model is released, it will almost certainly be an incremental update. Itâs almost preposterous to think otherwise.

Will Apple even release a new phone soon, or will it be summer before we see something? This is also a possibility. Apple enjoys keeping the wraps on its products to create a sort of veil of secrecy, but itâs more to protect its pockets, if anything.

So what could we possibly see in a new version of the iPhone 5 that might be called the iPhone 5S? Well, quite a number of things actually. Letâs go over them with a fine-tooth comb, shall we?

NFC Chip

This is almost a given. We heard Samsung giving it to Apple in all of those commercials about the lack of NFC, and itâs one of the only things left that would make sense to have.

Why not add it in to have this feature in the new phone? I would put it in there if I was Steve Cook. Thatâs for sure.

Faster Hardware

Apple also includes new internals that promise âtwice the speedâ and whatnot with every new product. Itâs almost a running joke. But itâs true, you will see new hardware inside of the new iPhone model.

Will it be amazingly quick compared to an iPhone 5? Possibly. Weâll have to wait and see.

Since the new iPad with all of its iPad POS capabilities came out with new hardware, it only makes sense.

Wireless Charging

This is another thing that will probably be included to keep up with Googleâs Nexus 4 device. Wireless charging out of the box is always nice when you donât need to jump through hoops to get it to work. In addition, youâd rather not have to dump $70 for a wireless charging pad, either.

At that point, youâd almost rather do the conventional charging with USB.

Youâll almost certainly see a new iPhone 5S in stores over the coming months. Will it be amazing? Probably. Will it sell millions? You bet it will.
