If your printer cartridge ink level is zero then you have two option buy new one or refill the cartridge. New cartridge is costly so you can refill your cartridge if you want to refill your existing one. In that case you have to know how to refill a cartridge. Let’s continue how to refill a printer cartridge.

First Step:
At first you have bought an ink refill kit and refill ink. Don’t try to use your own kit as a refill kit. Now you are ready for refilling your cartridge. The first step is you have to remove the cartridge from your printer. If you don’t know how to do this just read your printer’s manual. Don’t give any extra force on the printer to bring out the cartridge. If your cartridge or printer damaged then it will not work after the refilling. So do it very carefully.

Second Step:
Put newspaper or a towel on your working table remember it had to be flat space. Now wipe the cartridge head carefully and keep away from wiping across the heads and make sure that you take out all the ink. In cartridge there are some hole just remove the sticker which is on your printer cartridge and uncover the hole. If there is no hole then you have to create holes with a refill kit.

Third Step:
Your cartridge is now ready for refilling. Fill up your syringe with refill ink. Then insert the needle of the syringe into the ink cartridge hole and inject the ink slowly. If you see the ink bubbling out of the hole, then inject the ink more slowly. Every cartridge is little bit different from each other so it’s better to read the guide how your cartridge will be refilled. You can take help from www.refillinstructions.com. Remember one thing if you are refilling your both cartridges (black and color) then use different syringe.

Final Step:
Now cover the hole with a sticker or tape. If there ink leaking out from the top of the hole then wipe on it with tissue paper. Put the cartridge into your printer and run 2/3 times "Clean Cartridges".

Finally run a test print let’s check your ink cartridge is working properly.
