    Course Format

    The class will consist of lecture videos, which are between 5 and 20 minutes in length. These contain 1-2 integrated quiz questions per video. There will also be standalone homeworks that are not part of video lectures, optional programming assignments, and a final exam.

    Suggested Reading

    1. Jurafsky and Martin - Speech and Language Processing. The second
    edition is currently on sale but we will be mostly using drafts of the
    third edition as it gets released by the authors.

    2. Bird et al - NLTK. Check the site.

    With no knowledge of NLP, I was able to catch hold of the topic. The programming assignment helped learn things more practical. Though some lectures are boring, but overall a thumbs up for this course.
