We all see the EQ setting in iTunes, but many of us do not know exactly how to use it to its full potential.

With the iTunes equalizer, you can get the most out of your music.
About iTunes Equalizer
iTunes Equalizer is also called EQ or 10-band graphic equalizer because there are 10 different EQ frequencies or bands at 32, 64, 125, 250, 500, 1 K, 2 K, 4 K, 8 K and 16 K to choose from.
Well, different bands will have different effects on the sound of your music. let’s quickly understand what each iTunes band does.
32 Hz: This is the lowest bands selection on the iTunes Equalizer. Some speaker systems can’t even reproduce this frequency.
64 Hz: This frequency begin becoming audible on decent speakers. Mostly bass drums and bass instruments will reside in this region.
125 Hz: Small speakers can just about handle this frequency for bass information.
250 Hz: This is still considered low-end, guitars and pianos will have a large amount of low end in this frequency range.
500 Hz: This band now is approaching mid-range frequencies, but some of the low end of vocals and the mids of bass instruments sit here in a mix.
1 K: Most instruments such as guitars, pianos, snare drums, etc sit in this low mid-range.
2 K: In the range your voice makes when you hold your nose and talk.
4 K: Many electric guitars and other instruments sit this upper mid range many instruments.
8 K: Many vocals have a lot of information in this range.
16 K: This is true high end of iTunes. If you turn this up, your mixes will get ‘sizzle’.
