Identify the problem first: This should be the first thing to identify the problem first with your android device. Find out the cause of the problem by thoroughly inspecting it. Find out whether excess data is causing the issue on your phone or there are some technical issues with it. Check for the GPU & CPU load on your device, also check for RAM usage to identify the reason behind slow performance of the device. You can also look for cache issues and to deal with that you can work on to find solutions to clear cache on android phone. All this inspection will help you to ascertain the exact issue with your device and to find the solution.

Free up some space: Check for the files & applications which are occupying most of your device memory space. Check for those unused apps on your phone which are occupying RAM space for no use. Many apps remain on your device which you don’t use often and these apps not only covers lot of storage space but it makes your device running slow as well. Your device storage also contains those files & folders as well which are either duplicate or are of no use for you. Remove all space hogging unrequired media files, duplicate files, unnecessary apps, unused games and all that which is causing the slow speed of your android device.

Remove Widgets: Widgets helps you access important apps and data instantly but at the same time too many widgets on your device causes the slow speed of your device. Maybe widgets you are running on your device’s home screen are useful, still, they also take up their fair share of resources. Consider removing widgets which you really don’t use or you use them very less.

Restart your device: This can be the quick fix to deal with device performance issues. The restarting device will help you to clear out the cache, stop unnecessary tasks from running on the phone. Hold down the Power button, select the Restart option, click OK to instantly release some memory for better device performance.

Disable Bloatware: Your device comes with many pre-installed apps and programs from the carrier and third parties which you really don’t use. These apps occupy space on your device’s storage and on RAM causing the slow speed of the device. It is a better idea to get rid of these apps and programs if you are not using them. Unfortunately, you can’t delete these pre-installed apps unless you root the mobile hence you can ‘Disable’ all such apps from running.

I experience the issues with cache, but based on my experience Cache can just release some space utilized by apps that are not frequently used. And when it comes to cache cleaner apps, they just clean cache of all the apps at one go, it could be dangerous at times, like if you are playing a game and the data is stored in a cache, you may risk losing all the date. Further to it, the cache clearing apps also eat up your space and battery. But clearing RAM can help fasten the processing capacity, less battery usage.
