Quantum computers are far more powerful than classical computers. Their development will lead to rapid advances in artificial intelligence. Here are some things that quantum computers will improve:

A Massive Data Storage Capacity:

Quantum computers use quarks as bits (qubits). Quarks are the smallest components of matter. This means that a large number of qubits can fit in a very small space.

While ordinary bits can either be in the 1 or 0 position, qubits can be in both positions at the same time. The amount of data that can be stored on a quantum computer doubles whenever another qubit is added. Therefore, you would only need around 500 qubits to store as many bits of code as there are atoms in the entire universe.
Faster Operating Speeds:
Artificial intelligence that uses quantum computing would be capable of running much faster than the AI of today. Handheld AI using quantum computing could solve equations that classical computers haven't been able to solve to this day in mere seconds, such as the equations required for mapping the entire universe.
Greater Security:
Artificial intelligence that runs on quantum technology could not be compromised using either classical computers or quantum computers. This could make it possible for artificial intelligence to be used in settings where it currently cannot be used due to security concerns.
Advances In Space Travel:
Ultra-powerful quantum computers may make it possible for scientists to develop far more effective computer models of spaceflight. This could allow scientists to develop technologies that would protect astronauts from the dangers that astronauts would encounter during long distance space flights. Artificial intelligence that runs on quantum computers could also be capable of effectively guiding spaceships of the future on long distance space flights.
Advances In Medicine:

Artificial intelligence using quantum technology could make it possible for doctors to effectively create computer models of how the functioning of the body is expected to change as a result of disease. These models could detect changes that occur on the molecular level rather than the cellular level. This could allow doctors to come up with far more effective treatments of diseases. Some examples of what quantum computers may allow doctors to do include the creation more effective drugs, more effectively preventing the development of cancer, more effectively detecting hazardous substances in the body, extending the human lifespan by a considerable amount, and even mapping the entire human genome.

Improved Safety Of Airplanes:
Quantum computer models of flight could make it possible to build planes that are less likely to malfunction. Artificial intelligence using quantum computing could also be used to guide airplanes more effectively. Quantum computing is also likely to allow scientists to develop more effective models of the atmosphere's behavior and improve weather forecasts. This will also help to make flights safer.
More Effective Advertising:
Artificial intelligence that uses quantum computers will be able to more effectively go through company's databases to develop personalized advertisements. Today's artificial intelligence goes through corporate databases and performs a statistical analysis to guide advertising, but it often results in individuals getting advertisements for items that they aren't really interested in. However, this will be much less common when companies begin to use artificial intelligence that runs on quantum computers.
Streaming Larger Amounts Of Data:
Currently, artificial intelligence is able to stream large amounts of data using Apache Kafka and other platforms. However, these platforms aren't capable of streaming nearly as much data as artificial intelligence that uses quantum computing will be able to.
