There are cases where you permanently lose important data whether by accident or not and once this happens, it almost seems impossible to recover it. However, if a part of your HFS+ partition is missing, like maybe for example due to corruption, then the chances of getting it back become slimmer. But not everything is lost, as with any other data file, it is still possible to get it back as long as you have the means and the knowledge to do so.

There are several third-party tools out there that offer services in helping you get back your lost data with a missing HFS+ (Mac) partition. uFlysoft Data Recovery is a good option for you to use when doing partition recovery. You can use it when you find out that you are no longer able to access your files and such in Finder or if you know that your partition has been somehow corrupted.

Data Recovery: How would you recover a .txt file from a lost HFS+ (Mac) partition?

uFlysoft Data Recovery is the most well-known third-party software to help in recovering files from lost partitions in a Mac OS.which is a popular Mac data recovery tool to recover deleted, formatted, corrupted or lost data from the hard drive and memory card. When you choose thissoftware, which enables you tofree scan hard drive, memory card, SD Cards, hard disk or more other Storage Devices, you can find out the lost dataquickly and easily. It uses powerful tools to try and locate the files from your missing partition. What it can do is recover a lost partition, rebuild any reformatted partition and finally rebuild a catalog file for an unmountable HFS+ partition. Once this is done, you can then use MAC recovery to find your .txt file. However, even if a partition cannot be rebuilt, there is still a way to get your data back. Here is a step by step guide in using uFlysoft Data Recovery:

1.) Go to their website which is www.uflysoft.com and download the recovery software. Once the software has been downloaded, add it to the dock from your Applications menu to launch uFlysoft right away.

2.) If you might be recovering a file from an external drive, it's best to connect it right away once downloading is done. But even if the file is coming from your MAC, it's best to connect the external drive anyway to ensure you will be able to have a backup source when needed.

3.) When the software has already been launched, you will be able to see a list of what disks are available. Select the missing partition from where your file is located then click on Recover. Sometimes, it may also say Rebuild so just click on that one instead.

4.) Once that is done, your missing partition will be found or rebuilt and then you can use the MAC Recovery tool to find your .txt file.

5.) You can also use another third party software to recover your .txt file as well if you wish to do so. The important thing is getting it back.

It's pretty easy and there are also steps and pictures to follow on the website as well. You may also use a different 3rd party software if you wish to, the steps should somehow be more or less the same when using uFlysoft Data Recovery. Now that you know about this, you will not need to worry about any missing or corrupted partitions on your MAC because you are aware that you are still able to recover it and any permanently deleted file can still be restored thanks to these 3rd party software and tools.
