Ever Come Across Outlook Connected Account Issue- Here How to Solve It

Those who use Outlook as a means of e-mail communication has the flexibility to add multiple accounts in Outlook and generally most of the people linked two or more accounts with their outlook account. Generally, professionals who deal with several projects require the need for multiple accounts in Outlook. if a problem occurs in any of the accounts then the Outlook application gets disturbed. In such case we need to find solution for Outlook Connected Account Problem.

Here are some Fixes to the problems with connected accounts in Outlook

Manage Passwords of Connected Accounts in Outlook

  • Login to Outlook.com and go to settings
  • Now click on the connected accounts and select account which you want to modify
  • Click on Edit and update the password
  • If there are any pending updates related to that account then fully update them

Unblock E-mail Server Settings

Most of the times the Outlook application shows blocked connection problem. This can only be resolved by logging to the mail server settings and unblock the cinnections to Outlook

Change POP to IMAP

  • Sign to Outlook.com and move to the connected account in which you want to make changes
  • Remove the POP Account from Outlook
  • Add this Account again and while adding select the settings
  • The account should be added under 'Choose where the imported e-mail will be stored section', and select option 'Create a new folder for imported email, with subfolders'
  • The account will be added as IMAP

So, these are some steps by which Outlook Connected Accounts can be solved.
