It has been found out that Twitter is becoming the fastest mode of communicating and promoting your business online. I must say that it is becoming faster than the speed of light. It is not that I am saying things hypothetically. It has been proved.

There was posted a tweet on twitter related to Oscars and 3.3 billion impressions were made. In this post I am sharing the deeper analysis about the global and fastest reach of the Oscars related tweets on twitter and their impact on it.

Twitter: The Fastest Mode of Communicating In Social Media - Image 1
Let’s start with the general tweets made on Oscars. Starting from Sunday at 5 in the evening the number of tweets reached to 3.3 billion on Monday at 5 in the morning. See how the conversation unfolded.
  1. It is given that there were around 19.1 million tweets tweeted about the Oscars during that time.
  2. Those tweets were forwarded by more than 5 million people.
  3. More than 37 million people checked out those tweets through their Twitter for desktop and mobile applications.
  4. If we count then the estimated value for the number of people who watched the show is 43 million.

The way we are measuring these views is by looking at the metric which is known as impressions that how many times were those Tweets displayed to the users. On the top of that these tweets related to the Oscars became very famous on the web. The journalists and the publishers took those tweets for their newspaper as to make it reach to the new audiences. If I tell you more, The Ellen Show’s tweet which reads celeb selfie was the most re-tweeted in the history and gave an example of how one single tweet reaches to the millions of people.

A complete analysis of her tweet:

- > The tweet was seen by a total of 26 million times including people using their desktops, Twitter mobile apps. 8.1 million Views were only from desktop apps.

- > The tweet was imposed on around 13,711 web pages. The written tweets were seen around 6.8 million times till 5 AM in the morning.

- > If we combine together the total number of tweets combined altogether for all the Oscar related tweets it counts out to be 32.8 million which is no doubt an amazing count.

With this we can conclude that Twitter is becoming the most powerful companion for the live events, especially live television broadcasts, and is actually by chance. This product was actually born on the mobile device and the majority of tweets that are done are public and the information that is given is real time. It is because of these product attributes that billions of people can experience the Oscars through twitter.

People generally remain very curious about the lives of celebrities and the things going worldwide. When they come to know anything related to their interest they just jump to their tweets and start following to know more and to remain in touch. Tweeting is fun. Keep on tweeting, re-tweeting and enjoy!
