Whenever an app developer start with their work they always have a question in their mind and the question is for whom are they working and for whom do they need to design their websites? The answer is not very simple. According to the flow it has been believed that firstly developers go for iOS, then they decide to work with Android and if they are left with resources they go for Windows Phone. But things are not sure here. We can have a look at some of the important strategies that are used.

Flavors of iOS

iOS is not an easy answer because when you work with iOS you have to work with two different screen sizes i.e. iPhone and iPad. If we talk about later things you might need to work with two sizes of iPhone and two different sizes of iPad. The curiosity and interest with tablet has lowered now but still it is counted as the major market that you cannot ignore. It would be good if you make wise plans for using your phones and making your smart phone as plan A and making the iPad as Plan B.

Android and other smart phones

When we talk about Android it is quite simple because Android phones are quite open source and mostly money moves on to the Android. Developers that develop for Android tablets they miss the point as much as people who are buying Android tablets. So if you have decided to develop for Android phones you can always look for phones you won’t be seeing tablet market share now. Chances are that if an Android phone user has a tablet then it is going to be an iPad.

Then come the case of Kindle and Chromebook. These two have the capability for running their android apps that are already been developed having minimum of adjustment. Amazon has its own app store that mainly services the line of Kindle Fire tablets and they control the big broad pieces of Android tablet that are toting up the population.

Chromebooks are becoming more and more popular these days especially with educational and school uses. If you want to develop some productivity application you can also make money with it. So you can say that Android tablets are not very much cut and dried.

You have Not Done Yet

But if we suppose that you have already decided where you want to concentrate your efforts, there are some more questions you need to answer. You have to find out which is more important for you; developing your application for all types of form factors for or for a single community? Well the honest answer is that it is best to have cross-platform compatibility. You can subscribe to the services like Netfix and Spotify. You can even use Spotify on your BlackBerry. This will be pretty powerful.

Also you will be able to serve to a broad range of audience. If you do not have to work for a particular ecosystem, you have much more chances to get into the mind of the people and this will help you a lot.

You Need A Single System To Rule Them All

This is the best way and a good one but mostly people who buy into the ecosystem they get sticked with it like glue. You must have known many people who have Mac, iPad and iPhone. There are people who use tablets as well as Samsung phones or a Nexus or different combos. If you are one amongst those people, you would definitely love to be one of the hands off productivity or gaming it from one device to another one. This is very true in the world of productivity.

If you make a proper strategy for designing your mobile application and follow up with that process you will definitely end up with something good.
