In normal life we tend to go to few shops or stores more often than others. We prefer same grocery shop or home improvement shop when we need arises. The reason behind this is the user experience that you receive at the place which makes you comfortable or loyal to that place. In the virtual world, it is very hard to create user experience that can engage users and make them loyal visitors. Online businesses try to achieve best user satisfaction through design, speed, and ease of navigation. These are basic factors that help create a great customer experience.

With a good user experience you can expect that users are satisfied as they find everything they require without going here and there through webpage. Your website is content-rich, helping visitors to browse around and finally taking them to their destination. Thus user is happy while leaving the website and sure to turn around when he requires some thing.

It is very easy to describe how user experience or UX should be designed but very hard to achieve it practically. There are many types of users and you can’t put same scale for all. Good UX can mean differently for businesses providing different products or services. So there are many aspects which make it further crucial and difficult but here we can list few of the most important and common factors that contribute to designing great user experience.

Speed - If your website does not load in few seconds after user hits enter button, then user might close the window and search for something else. To speed up your website you can try using optimized images. Images are integral part of your website and you can’t afford to use less number of images or images with lower size and quality. You should optimize images for different purposes and create separate images for distinct purposes. Don’t try to resize big images for thumbnails ever. This is the worst practice which can increase your website loading time to great extent. Instead create thumbnails with smaller sizes and use them wherever required. Another factor that affects load time is the css and js file inclusion. If you are using CMS then install speed up plugins or cache plugins.

Design - Overall website design is the key point for any website. The trend of using stock photos is now gone and experienced visitors can make out use of stock photos from quite a distance. If you wish to give a realistic touch to your website, then try to click actual photos and use them on your website.

Branding - Do not often change the design or color schemes on your website. You can lose your brand image as there is no consistency. Design changes affect a lot to the people who are regular visitors to your website.
