Incorrect brain stimulation
The baby's brain threefold increases in size from birth to two years and continues to grow until 21 years. Brain development at an early age is determined by the environmental stimuli or the lack of it. The surveys show that stimulating the brain with the overexposure of gadgets, internet or TV is connected with cognitive delays, increased impulsivity, reduced ability to self-regulation.

Cognitive delay
Static pastime entails a lack of exercise, and can lead to a delay in physical and mental development. This problem has become evident in the US where every third child goes to school with developmental delays, which is clearly reflected on child's education progresses and grades. Moving activities improve attention and the ability to learn new things. Scientists say that the overuse of electronic equipment harms the development of children and adversely affects their ability to learn.
Obesity
TV and computer games are bright results of non-dietary habits that directly influence the obesity epidemy. The obesity syndrome occurs for 30% more often among gadget-addict children. It is a serious issue because kids with the obesity are usually diagnosed with diabetes, early insults and heart attacks, which shortens the lifetime significantly.

Insomnia
A young brain overwhelmed with informational flow often suffers of stresses and anxiety syndromes. As a result a child's organism experiences the lack of rest and sleep which leads not only to decreasing of learning abilities, but also to serious psychological disorders. The game mania becomes a cause of dissatisfaction with life, increased anxiety and depression, also it could lead to emotional breakdowns and increased aggressiveness.
Gadget addiction
Scientific surveys show that passion for television at the age of one to three years leads to problems with concentration by the seventh year of life. Children who can not concentrate simply lose the ability to learn something new and remember any information. A constant flow of information leads to the rapid changes in the brain, and then to dementia - reduction in the loss of cognitive functions, previously learned knowledge and skills, and difficulty or inability to obtain new ones. Altogether it leads to the addiction to gadgets as a source of "external" memory and knowledge, making the person unable to produce own thoughts and opinions.
Conclusion
Of course, it is a dramatized description of consequences that could follow the overuse of gadgets by kids. But in anyways, the young generation should first learn the life in reality, and only then go to the digital world. Parents are responsible for creating healthy "gadget" habits for their kids and explaining main rules of online safety behavior.
