[Description] Job Responsibilities:
This role reports directly to Divisional Merchandising Manager (DMM) and indirectly to Assistant Divisional Merchandising Manager (ADMM).
Support the DMM and ADMM in performance analysis and effective management of specified product categories, with focus on gross margin, sales, inventory, assortment mix, sales mix and spending in order to drive profits in line with agreed financial parameters and category strategies.
Assist in strategy development and execution
Prepare and update statistical data for monthly report, annual budgets, quarterly forecast, seasonal planning and for DMM and ADMM analysis
Conduct market survey on a timely basis
Manage productive space/inventory
Responsible for creating and maintaining skus, POs and vendor records/data base
Assist in shop/warehouse visits
Follow-up with vendor and team on merchandising matters under DMM and ADMM’s guidance
Coordinate with vendors, store, warehouse and visual merchandising on testers management and promotion setup
Coordinate with respective departments on vendor initiated staff training.
Minimum Diploma with at least three years’ relevant experience
Proficiency in Microsoft applications, particularly Excel
Highly adaptable, independent and results- driven
Good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and efficient
Comfortable working with numbers/statistics
