As the General Manager you will lead and oversee all business operations of the manufacturing plant, people and commercial ventures. This is the highest ranking head within the organizationorganization holding full P&L responsibility and overall success of the business. The goal is to ensure the company is constantly moving towards fulfilling its short and long term objectives. Other key responsibilities includes:

Develop and execute the company's business strategies in order to attain the goals of the board and shareholders
Provide strategic advice to the board and Chairperson so that they will have accurate view of the market and the company's future
Plan cost-effective operations and market development activities
Ensure company policies and legal guidelines are communicated
Maintain trusting relationships with shareholders, business partners and authorities
Oversee the company's Financial performance, Sales, Capex and Opex
OpexDelegate responsibilities and supervise the work of executives providing guidance and motivation to drive maximum performance
Ensure all products are produced within customers formula specifications and quality control standards
Develop the leadership team help them grow and improve
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will be a strategist and strong leader to steer head the company to the most profitable position while implementing its vision, mission and long term goals. Strong crisis leadership skills will be essential to lead the company in development growth. It's critical you have an all rounded experience in operation, sales, marketing, supply chain and financial acumen. The ideal candidate will also be responsible leader who leads, motivates and inspires a team. Other key expectations include:

Proven experience as General Manager within a Food or FMCG manufacturing
Demonstrable experience in developing strategic and business plans
Thorough knowledge of market changes and forces that influence the company
Ability to make difficult decisions when required
Excellent organisational, communication, presentation and leadership skills
Understanding of retail and industrial sales clients
Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities
BScBSc/BA in business administration or relevant field
