The Role


Purpose

Provide PMO support to the relevant workstream, ensuring bank SDF and ePMO standards and controls are embedded and complied with


Responsibilities


Strategy


Deliver the SAIL programmes vision, strategy and leadership, consistent with the vision and strategy for FCC, in support of the Groups strategic direction and growth aspirations.


Project Management


Deliver the project in line with the Banks SDF 2.0 framework aligned to the Inception, Elaboration, Construction, and Transition Phases
Propose control improvements, enhancements and simplifications where appropriate
Ensure all project deliverables, artefacts, and approvals are stored in a structured discoverable format for future recovery and audit
Proactively maintain project library for quality and completeness, including auditable approval trails
Govern artefact standards
Deliver all allocated activities to the highest quality standard and call out when this is not the case
Prepare, manage and maintain, and track quality of key project management artefacts such as project schedules, risks and issues registers, dependency mapping, budget and forecast, resource plan, requirements traceability matrix, change request register and RACI
Support Delivery Manager in PED preparation activities
Provide effective support to the Delivery Manager including meeting scheduling and minute taking, team and stakeholder liaison, representation at meetings, coordination of programme activities
Prepare status reporting as required for stakeholder requirements, and programme office, including MT, PSC, FCRMP ePMO and country engagement
Implement governance standards across the project, including tracking, monitoring and updating the status of project deliverables
Work with Delivery Lead and all workstream leads to identify and document within the workstream project schedule (mpp) all tasks to the required level of detail, including start and finish dates, resource allocation and task dependencies (start-start, finish-start, etc). Support Delivery Manager and workstream leads to ensure compliance with and integrity of the schedule on an ongoing basis, updating progress of all tasks and identifying delays up to level 2 with early escalation
Actively support FCC Assurance activities, Audit reviews and regulatory inspections for Project SAIL, providing input to the reviews, and oversight of any arising management action plans ensuring all activities are completed on time
Where given, delegated responsibility for the following from the Delivery Manager: Managing the Phase Gate framework for the workstream
Complying with the Project Governance Policy and the Project Management Standards for Project SAIL and the workstream, and ensuring staff working in the workstream are aware and compliant
Supporting the FCRMP, Project SAIL and workstream governance bodies and preparing quality materials (ToR, Progress Reports, minutes etc.)
Ensuring Clarity is up to date including Project static, RAG status, key milestones, financials, risks, dependencies, issues and resource forecasts, and they are tracked and reported to the governance bodies
Ensuring that all submissions to committees and working groups (PED, Red Packs, Closure Reports, Benefit Reports, Progress Reports, etc.) are of the right quality and are timely
Implementing project closure procedure
Review, Control and report on financial status of the individual sub deliveries and overallworkstream as per the banks standards, Project SAIL and workstream governance
Ensure measuresas per the banks standards, are in place Project SAIL and workstream governancefor benefits tracking are implemented end-to-end

Our Ideal Candidate, should have:

8years experience in Banking and Finance
Experience in projects delivery environment
Working knowledge of project management lifecycle
Ability to communicate effectively and clearly, and work harmoniously across multi-cultural teams
Ability to define and implement processes that helps simplify or improve processes
