General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) has an immediate opportunity for a MicroStrategy Developer responsible for enhancing and supporting reports and report objects.  This may include analysis of requirements, design, implementation, testing, and support as necessary.

Key Responsibilities: 

Work cross-functionally with business clients, business analysts, database administrators, testers, and other developers Create and/or review MicroStrategy technical designs based on functional requirements Build and maintain MicroStrategy schema objects (attributes, facts, hierarchies, tables, views, etc.) Build and maintain MicroStrategy public objects (metrics, filters, templates, reports, dashboards, etc.) Perform unit testing on all report object modifications Manage object promotion through MicroStrategy SIT, CAT and production environments via defined Promotion Requests (PR) and Service Requests (SR) Support SIT and CAT test teams and fix all identified defects Performance tuning to ensure acceptable report execution times, including validation of report SQL Support production reports by investigating open issues and coding solutions Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation Provide accurate and timely status to project stakeholders Continue to advance knowledge of MicroStrategy report development and schema administration Adhere to all USPS defined policies and procedures (e.g. time reporting, attendance, etc.)
