Job / Role Description: To work in a 24X7 technology restoration and availability command center as voice SME Technical Skills: Experience and specialist skills in the configuration and maintenance of Cisco voice communications infrastructure, including the ability to support a variety of technologies. Knowledge of industry standards and government regulations relevant to voice communications / networking. An understanding of emerging technologies in the communications sphere and their potential commercial application. Skills in Cisco IPT Hardware/Software, Call Billing Hardware/Software and Cisco Contact Center Excellent troubleshooting/problem solving skills. Operational knowledge of voice collaboration systems and software covering office telephony and contact center functionalities. Proven analytical and troubleshooting skills. Soft Skills required: Should be able to drive restoration calls independently Attention to Detail Quality Focus Good analytical skills and be able to correlate the issues Excellent problem solving and resolution skills Promoting Process Improvement Flexibility in work in night shifts Self-starter; ability to begin working with minimal coaching. Provides information to others both internal and external to the organization. Excellent written and oral communication skills coupled with a customer service orientation. Good decision making Able to work independently as well as part of a team on multiple overlapping issues. Education & Certification: Bachelors degree in Electronics Engineering / information system or equivalent ITIL certified Added advantage CCNP, CCIE or equivalent technical certification
