Our checkout-free shopping experience is made possible by our Just Walk Out Technology. - As an experienced Hardware Design Engineer within our team, you will engage with a skilled and accomplished cross-disciplinary staff to conceive and design innovative technologies. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive key aspects of technology solution definition, execution and validation.
- Full cycle product development experience from inception through maturity is important. Working simultaneously on projects in different phases is common; you are able to demonstrate strong design and validation skills in addition to the understanding of mechanics of ongoing operational excellence and product support. You are responsive, flexible, and able to succeed within an open collaborative peer environment.

- BS Electrical Engineering (or similar field)
- 5 + years of experience in electrical, firmware and system level
- Experience in schematic entry, layout tools and design for manufacturability (familiarity with OrCAD Capture and Cadence Allegro tool flow is a plus)
- Experience with FPGAs, VHDL, microcontrollers, microprocessors or mixed-signal designs

- MS Electrical Engineering (or similar field)
- Experience applying IEC 60204 and/or IEC 61508 machinery safety standards preferred.
- Experience designing, developing and certifying safety rated hardware systems is desirable.
- Experience with the project management of technical projects a plus
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving EMI/EMC issues
- Experience executing design reviews in front of interdisciplinary teams
- System design interfacing to a wide array of electro-mechanical subsystems and debugging experience
