Job Mission

Anticipate, analyze and solve problems from 1st and 2nd line support or manufacturing operator, help building the problem solving capacity,?develop capabilities for new product launches and support within product?guidelines and timeframes as agreed with the (internal) customer by?creating and maintaining working instructions and providing manufacturing and'service requirements into the PGP process and making optimal use of?knowledge inside and outside the own domain, in order to support ?manufacturing and servicing ASMLYieldstar?Machines.

Job Description

-Understands?basic product functionality of the main modules/submodules or is able to?translate (internal) customer requirements into product capabilities and?options within a competency (imaging/overlay/productivity/metrology)?
-Develops and maintains a network across several functional areas to use for problem?resolution related to a specific option?? ??
-Educates less experienced colleagues on specific topics?
-Deals?with upgrades within one's competency, minimizes impact on (internal)?customer's work in progress?
-Signals?gaps in processes and procedures, contributes to improvements?
-Is?able to set priorities based on an understanding of the(internal) customer's?business within one's competency?
-Works independently, based on procedures and practices and is subject to managerial?control and review of end results, escalates to next level if out of scope?
-Participate?in NPI projects so that the manpower is ready when the new system and/or?functionality are ready for the field, if requested?participate in the development activities and?execution, provide resources when necessary to generate the?necessary documents under?the guidance of the projects?
-While?working closely with local Sales and/or other relevant departments or organizations (eg CS), plan and execute all applications phases of assigned new business development?activities (evaluations, ASML equipment integration, new fab'start-up's, and commercial'support product related projects)?
-Gather all information to construct a full initial understanding of the issue, use?available?expertise within the organization to find solutions, enable?each issue to have an owner and?that progress is being made, lead technical discussions with?the (internal) customer, play a?leading role in routing to relevant other departments/sectors regarding technical issues to?have them resolved, monitor the status of outstanding issues,?perform timely?communication to relevant parties on the status of escalated?issues?
-Perform'specialized technical services to Sales and/or other departments or (internal)?customers, function as a point of technical expertise?(whether the expertise is owned or gathered from other sources) in the discipline
-Assist?in performance optimization (eg in the field), guide other engineers with?technical?problems (eg first and second line field applications?engineers), participate in the group to?handle all discipline related (field) escalations in a timely?manner and deliver acceptable solutions or containments to (internal) customers or the?field?
-Contribute to clarifying the needs from (internal) customers to improve overall capability?to'solve problems, assist in the creation of the necessary training material to increase the?knowledge level of other engineers (eg field applications?engineers in continental organizations), work with development and use knowledge?gathered from troubleshooting?cases to create the necessary means & methods for others?(?zero repeat?)?
-Maintain?working relations with relevant contacts inside and outside the own department/sector to share knowledge, as a basis for cross-sector?optimization?
-Provide?appropriate support and assistance to less experienced ASML or local personnel as necessary?
-Keep?up with relevant developments in own specialist field, teach others in own?field of expertise?
-Provide?manufacturing and service requirements into the PGP process


BS or Master's degree in an engineering field is preferred or equivalent industry experience.



-3 -5?years year Yieldstar - KLA experience or? 5+ years of industry experience
-Direct stepper and/or scanner related experience in the semiconductor or related?industry
-In-depth understanding of ASML products and operations
-High level of technical ability
-Proven line management and process management skills
-Effective?interpersonal skills and the ability to direct activities of others to?accomplish goals
