[Description] The purpose of the position:

The role is responsible for consolidation and analysis the demand plans for the Asia Pacific Except China region for use in monthly enterprise S&OP meetings. He/She also ensures the accuracy of demand planning and improvements to forecasts within region under general supervision from manger, receives a moderate level of guidance and direction.

Key Responsibilities:

Collect and compile country forecasts from Country Managers, Regional Marketing Manager, Regional Product Managers, Logistics and Customer Service Department. Analyze the data and develop demand plans for the region. Provide the data for Sales forecasting process
Monitor inventories to support Sales to achieve regional sales goals. Minimize zero write off and zero expiration of products. Generate expiring products report and slow mover report on monthly basis. Coordinating with each Product Managers and Sales Managers
Monitor production plans and movement of materials to ensure material availability and delivery meet the production schedules. Propose MRP elements such safety stock for production facilities and replenishment warehouses. Prepare monthly inventory analyses and request stocks transfer orders from supplying plant in order replace make to stock products. Ensure update material master (lead time, safety stock and others) database for all SKU/Plants into SAP
Track SKU rationalization. Provide recommendation for Product Management team based on volume and cost performance. Prepare SAP Master Data and incorporate new products with SOP process to ensure successful launch
Participate in customer visits in different countries for understanding deficiencies in customer service and implement improvements
Build an empowered and engaged organization adhering to customer’s core values with ongoing training and practicing of the customer’s management system
Enhance the effectiveness of the organization through appropriate recruitment, development, and management of people
Plan the work of the unit. Discuss the planning options with direct reports seeking for their suggestions. Assign clear and tangible tasks with specific timeline and quality
Set context of direct reports on a regular basis, providing the larger picture within which they are working
Manage task assignment and personal effectiveness appraisal within region and respective teams
Provide frequent, accurate, specific and timely feedback
Coach individuals and teams to ensure an integrated and collaborative effort to competently service customers
Engage in the training and development of team members and manage succession plans
Foster process improvement and cross-functional collaboration
Adhere to the company policies and procedures related to position assignment
Cross-Functional Relationships with Global Demand Planning, Supply Chain, Regional Product Development Team
Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills:

Command of demand management processes, forecasting principles and Enterprise Resource Planning (MRPII)
Working knowledge of Steel wedge forecasting system or related forecast software
Demonstrated analytical and planning skills with familiarity with forecasting models
Strong problem solving skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy of customer transactions
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics and 4+ years of related supply chain experience in a multinational corporation
Fluent in Thai and English
