TEKsystems is seeking a Systems Administrator that is highly self-motivated and directed, with high attention to detail; have creative problem-solving abilities; ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a highly technical environment; work with minimal oversight; enjoy working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment specializing in the management and operations of Linux server/workstation environment in support of the Missile Defense Space Center (MDSC) at Schriever AFB, Colorado Springs, CO.

Primary duties include configuration and daily maintenance of HBSS in multiple environments.

Additional duties may include installing, troubleshooting, updating/patching, and maintenance of virtualized Linux environments, lab assets, & IT infrastructure. Candidate will sustain operational uptime on Red Hat Linux systems and provide daily support for hardware and software issues, data recovery, system upgrades, software upgrades, and configuration issues.

Basic Qualifications

6 Years with Bachelors; 0 Year with Masters; 10 years of Relevant IT experience in lieu of a degree Must have Security+ with Continuing Education (CE) or equivalent certification under DoD 8570.01-M Experience managing CND operations in a DoD environment. Working experience with HBSS. Active SECRET Security Clearance

Preferred (Not Mandatory) Qualifications

Experience with Linux System Administration in a multi-user networked environment Experience in Virtualization technology (VMWare) Experience as administrator using Ansible, IPA/IDM identity management systems, Red Hat Satellite, and other hardware technologies Experience with ACAS and/or SCC. Ability to evaluate system and network configurations for compliance with Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Secure Technical Implementation Guides (STIG), NIST 800-53 Security Controls and ISO/IEC 15408 Common Criteria to formulate and implement effective high quality RMF accreditation packages. Strong writing skills to produce the coherent and concise documentation required for certification evaluation
