TEKsystems client is currently seeking an experienced Sr. Project Manager to join their new product development team at their HQ in Carmel, IN. This person will be embedded in the internal IT Organization and working directly with key business stake holders in order to successfully bring new products from concept/inception, through all of the necessary steps from a systems perspective and business process in order to successfully launch the new product for release/sale. This is a 9 month+ contract engagement that could go much longer. No promises of full time conversion at this point but there is potential for this down the road as well depending upon how they plan to staff this role long term.

 

 

The role is accountable for autonomously leading and managing the delivery of multiple, concurrent Product Development projects for all three Business Segments that directly impact Growth / Sales and Servicing of products to customers.

 

- Using project management discipline / best practices and leadership skills, the Senior Project Manager will direct an average of 3-5 large, complex projects (Averaging $800k-$2mm)

 

- Leading project teams staffed at 30-50+ resources for extended periods of time (average 6-18 months).

 

- Projects are moderate to high potential risk and strategic impact.

-IT SDLC Process

 

-IT and Business Stakeholder Management

 

-Potential Contract to Hire

 

-Health Insurance Product Knowledge a Plus
