The role would suit a passionate individual with some IT support experience whos looking for an opportunity to expand their knowledge and develop their skills.
Please note that some work outside standard hours may be required to limit the disruption of system maintenance.
The IT Support Technician / Analyst will initially provide end-user support with a view to being developed fully into a system administrator with time.
Maintenance and monitoring of IT infrastructure.Helpdesk support for the organisation and its users. Including servers, end user hardware and software.Assisting with the design and implementation of the continuity plan and strategy for recovery of systems.Maintain, monitor and patch IT infrastructure.Maintaining the end-user software stack, patching where appropriate.Work with the Infrastructure and Support Manager on project work including the implementation of infrastructure and software releases, and adoption of new products.
Whilst no formal IT qualifications are necessary, experience within an IT support role of some type is desirable and its essential you can demonstrate a passion for IT.
Required skills and experience include:
Experience within an office environment, with IT-based roles being highly advantageous.A good standard of education strong GCSEs & A-Levels.Demonstrable enthusiasm for IT.Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.
The salary is 20,000 - 23,000 depending entirely on skills and experience and benefits are extensive and impressive.
