TEKsystems is currently seeking a Security Engineer for a multi-year contract to hire for a client located in Spokane, WA.

Position must sit on-site in Spokane.

Requirements:

2-5 years experience in the IT or security field In-depth knowledge and understanding of a minimum of 4 of the following areas: Local area and Wide area networking Network protocols such as TCP/IP Network security systems such as IDS, IPS, Firewalls, Proxies, etc. Computer Security principals and applicability Linux OS distributions and Windows Server and workstation platforms Ability to learn about and support enterprise physical security systems General knowledge of physical security systems (access & video management, cameras) General knowledge of security infrastructure (IDS, firewall, VPN, SIEM, Proxy Servers, etc), encryption technology and practical applications (digital certificates, PKI, VPN, IPSec, SSL, S/MIME, Kerberos, etc) Verbal and written communication skills required to collaborate and work effectively with both technical and non-technical staff to achieve security goals. Ability to identify objectives and achieve results with minimal supervision. GSEC, CISSP, GCIH, CCNP, MCSE, CCNA Ability & track record of getting projects completed.
