Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business
Cold call as appropriate to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities
Identify opportunities for campaigns
Identify potential clients and the decision makers within the client organization
Research and build relationships with new clients
Present to and consult with mid, senior and C-level management
Set up meetings between client decision makers and companys practice leaders
Plan approaches and pitches
Write solution and pricing proposals
Manage business deals from negotiation to close
Forecast sales targets and ensure they are met
Updating all sales activity in CRM
Maintain an in-depth knowledge of all the companys solution/products and service offerings
Maintain an in-depth knowledge of Customer Experience (CX) trends
Ability to cold call and generate leads
Ability to close deals
Ability to intrinsically understand what causes clients challenges and align solutions to these causes
Ability to deliver client-focused solutions based on customer needs
Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
Ability to withstand pressure on an on-going basis
Ability to learn complex products
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
Good problem-solving ability
Self-confident and Self Starter
EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
At least 5-7 years work experience as Business Development Manager within the Enterprise software arena
Proven track record of business development success.
Proven track record as successful hunter
Demonstrated ability to meet sales targets and self-manage towards successful outcomes
Ability to quickly pick up on Customer Experience (CX) concepts and translate them to prospects
Comfortable interacting with C-level executives
Dedication to develop clients business
Derive energy from facing challenges and provide actionable solutions.
