We are a telecommunications company based in Bryanston looking for a new candidate to join us in the position of Remote Support/Helpdesk. We are looking for someone that is a good team player, efficient and has great customer relation skills.
monitoring and maintaining the data and voice systems within a client base in a technical support role attending to issues or required changes such as forgotten passwords, email issues, performance or connectivity issues, voice quality issues, etc ensure the necessary software and IT tools are fully operational to allow remote connectivity to client devices monitor and maintain client devises, update firmware diagnosing hardware, software, network and configuration faults telephonic, remote and occasional onsite support diagnose and resolve hardware and software / application issues ensure clients devices are operating optimally provide advice and assistance to clients to prevent or resolve issues or to complete required changes / updates configuring hardware and software as per solution requirements monitoring and maintaining remote access console responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests assist with pre-configuration of Wi-Fi access points, Wi-Fi routers, range extenders, wireless repeaters and point point connections assist with pre-configuration of mikrotik routerboards assist with pre-configuration of LTE routers telephonic and remote support to field techs telephonic and remote support to call centre agents
Up to date knowledge of hardware + software and latest IT and software trends Up to date knowledge of MikroTik routerboard and Winbox Strong customer service skills Ability to work well with people Strong communications skills Excellent organisational skills Strong time and task management skills Ability to cope well under stressful circumstances Ability to work well with a team Listen attentively to clients concerns or requirements
Overtime 50% contribution to medical aid after 3 months
