Key accountabilities

Job Description

Support Product Head to define the product requirements for new features or enhancements, based on user needs & market opportunities
Practice user centered design, to create a delightful customer journey from purchase to fulfilment
Continually and proactively monitor and assess competitor landscape, and develop imaginative products that create unique value to customers
Execute the product development roadmap and initiatives, by working with development team to manage the features & schedule of release
Conduct User Acceptance Testing to ensure successful products and services updates/launches
Manage cost components of products, and support Product Head to develop Price Book for products
Support go-to-market strategies through communicating benefits/values of product to team, and enabling relevant workflows/processes/systems
Manage/Work with business partners, including validating financial statements & necessary reconciliation, updating contracts & contact details
Collate weekly/monthly reports to track business targets and partners performance, and report key product performance and sales stats to management team
Work with various stakeholders, including Marketing, Finance, Legal, Customer Service and business partners to ensure on-time launches, and smooth post launch operations

Skills & experience

Good Degree from a recognised university
At least 3 years' experience in product development or product management, preferably in e-Commerce, mobile, internet or digital technologies
Practical experience in creating software product specifications, translating business requirements into user stories, and high level process flows & usage models, as well as UX considerations
Practical experience in working with a mobile app or web development team
Strong understanding of Product Development Lifecycle. Actual experience in managing Software Development Lifecycle is a plus
Strong understanding in project management principles. Actual experience in waterfall project management, or having worked in an agile development team is a plus
Practical experience in doing cost projection, revenue modelling and tracking product performance
Practical experience in defining business model, pricing structure and developing business cases
Experience in forming professional working relationships and work across various functional teams, both internal & external
