Description
You will be part of the CAAS IT Infrastructure team responsible for supporting projects as well as the operation of IT Infrastructure in order to achieve high availability, performance, resiliency and security for CAAS network and systems.
Responsibilities:
Support IT Infrastructure day-to-day operationsPrepare and maintain IT Infrastructure standard operation procedure (SOP)Perform annual capacity review and the required works to ensure that the capacity is sufficient to meet demandEnsure compliance with ISO, CAAS and Government requirementsPlan, manage and execute the Disaster Recovery (DR) exercise for the Data Center (DC) and system(s).Support the planning and implementation of projects in areas related to IT infrastructurePerform procurement functions and activities for IT Infrastructure
Requirements
Trained in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering (Computing / Telecommunication) or equivalent.Certification as Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) will be an added advantage.Experience in the Singapore Government procurement processExperience in Data Center Management.Experience in backup and recovery process.Experience in conducting DR exercise.Good knowledge of TCP / IP related protocols such as DHCP, WINS, DNS, SMTP, POP3, and SNMP.Strong analytical skills to perform effective problem troubleshooting.Good verbal and written communication skills, positive attitude, and aptitude for detailsGood team player with strong interpersonal skills to deal effectively with internalcustomers and vendors.Motivated, creative and meticulous individual.Experience in the following will be an added advantage:ICT Security and ability to perform security hardening for Windows operating systemsSupporting the server virtualization infrastructureOracle and MS SQL database management
