The Client

Our client isa fast growing financial services businessset up by some of the most influential names in the UKbanking industry. Due to significant growth and new systems to be used by their clients we are now seekingaPermanent User Interface Designer to be based attheir officesnear Warrington.

The Role

We are looking for a UI/UX Designer to create the graphic identity of ourclientssoftware and design easy-to-use interfaces for their clients.

Your responsibilities will include gathering user requirements, designing graphic elements and user experience. You have strong skills in CSS, CSS Pre-Processors (SASS, LESS, etc) and responsive web design. You can illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps. Previous experience with Angular Framework would be a plus but not essential.

Responsibilities:

- Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers
- Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
- Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like
- Create original template (CSS) and graphic user interface elements (like menus and widgets) to use across multiple applications
- Prepare and present drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders

Requirements:

- Proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role
- Knowledge of wireframe tools
- Team spirit and strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
- Portfolio of design projects would be a plus
- Previous experience with Angular framework would be a plus
