Payroll Associate
[Description] Reporting to the Team Lead, you will perform the full spectrum of payroll activities including bi-monthly payroll processing, payroll and General Ledger reconciliation, General Ledger interface, GIRO upload, CPF and income tax submission for local and foreign staff. Other responsibilities including preparing monthly reports, billings and claim documents, liaising with both internal and external auditors on payroll audit and payroll vendor on system upgrades and rectifying any system issues. You will also generate cost simulations for manpower placement, taxation and budget purposes and respond to employees’ queries and provide support to respective departments on all payroll related matters.

The ideal candidate should possess a recognised degree, with at least 2 years of experience in payroll, with experience in Peoplesoft being an advantage . You should be proficient in the Singapore Employment Act, CPF and Income Tax legislation, government paid leave claim process and financial double entry. Strong analytical skills with an eye for detail, coupled with good interpersonal, communication skills, and organisational skills will hold you in good stead for this role.
