Leidos Digital Solutions provides Enterprise IT Support to the U.S. Congress. We are seeking a talented, well rounded IT Team Lead who specializes in desktop support related technologies to join our team. Our


business entity has traditionally offered longer term job stability compared to most government contracting environments (we have been in continuous operation since 1985 supporting the Legislative Branch of Government). This position is for a team lead for 10 IT Services Team members who provide support to the offices of Members of Congress, Committees and Leadership, and Administration. Because of the tenure we have supporting our customers and the variety of customer needs we fulfill, we can offer a career path that extends beyond the confines of this position.



Job Duties:



Working together with a self-motivated team to organize daily tasks and facilitate meeting customer commitments, on a range of technology projects



Facilitating communication within the team that strengthens the excellent support we provide to our important customer



Organizing the capture and documentation of procedures for optimization



Providing quality checks for services provided to ensure consistency and accuracy



Identifying opportunities to improve, and working with the team to implement and adopt improvements



Facilitating the adoption of best practices, tools, and methods that support customer satisfaction and promote working together as a team



Other duties, as needed, leveraging leadership methods to achieve positive results



Typically requires BS and 2 - 4 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with less than 2 years of prior relevant experience.Required Skills and Minimum:



Required Skills and Minimum:



Technical Degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience



Must be able to obtain a Public Trust



3 years experience as a team lead supporting end user technologies (demonstrated work experience performing above noted functions, to include new hire training)



5-10 years prior end user support experience (in addition to 3 years directly related to IT Team Lead) and is well versed at handing technical escalation from end user support staff



Ability to stay organized, multi-task, and maintain good performance and a good attitude in a fast paced and dynamic environment



Strong communication and customer service skills (internal and external, at varied levels of org chart)



Intimate knowledge of desktop computer imaging and deployment methods, end user support and hardware repair for Windows and Apple computers and laptops, activation and end user support for mobile devices, network printer support, and warranty coordination for HP and other makes of printers and multi-function devices



Ability to can manage and lead where the following technologies are used (including, but not limited to): Windows Active Directory and GPO, AirWatch MDM for phones and tablets, MS Office Pro and Office 365, IBM BigFix, PowerShell, MDT.
