Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have experience in customer facing roles and success leading deep technical architecture discussions with senior customer executives, Enterprise Architects, IT Management and Developers to drive core Infrastructure solutions and Data center migrations.

AWS Analytics Cloud Solution Architect will drive high priority customer initiatives on the AWS Platform.

15+ Years of overall IT experience with focus on Analytics and related platforms.

8+ years of Cloud experience across AWS, GCP.

Must have expertise in AWS Analytics cloud solutions: EMR, RedShift, S3, IaaS, Cloud Security, and IaC, Infrastructure as a code technologies.

Must have experience in large-scale Analytics deployments in enterprise-wide environments.

Experience in migrating very large data sets from on-prem to AWS.

Cloud Infrastructure Automation involving Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation.

Must have strong scripting skills: Bash, Python.

Experience installation/setup of Monitoring tools: ELK, Splunk, NewRelic, AppDynamics.

Good understanding of Cloud Security principles - AWS Security, Network, Infrastructure, Platform security.

Hands-on experience in Containerization - Docker, Kubernetes.

Ability to collaborate with the information management development team and assist them in the migration process via best practices and thought leadership.

5+ years of success in consultative/complex technical sales and deployment projects (where necessary, managing various stakeholder relationships to get consensus on solution/projects)

Proven track record of building deep technical relationships with senior IT executives and growing data services in large or highly strategic accounts.

Acknowledged for driving decisions collaboratively, resolving conflicts and ensuring follow through with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences (Senior Executives, IT management and developers)

Prior work experience in a Consulting/Architecture position with a software/services company.
