Description
A firm of international consultants based in the UK is looking for a Service Desk Analyst to join them in London. They operate nationally throughout the UK with nine offices and internationally covering 20 European countries and all major US markets.

You will provide first line technical support to internal staff across the business as well as undertaking and maintaining a full physical audit of the firms technological equipment.

As a Service Desk Analyst, your daily duties will include:

Conducting a physical audit of technical equipment in the firm; logging serial numbers and maintaining a schedule of equipment.
Attending printer issues throughout the office; jams, toner cartridges, paper refilling.
Field incoming help requests from end users via both telephone and e-mail in a friendly and professional manner.
Documenting all pertinent end user identification information, including name, department, contact information, and nature of problem or issue using helpdesk software and subsequently updating solutions.
Providing 1st line support - troubleshooting of problems from in-house software to hardware, such as iPhones, laptops, tablets and printers.
Troubleshooting basic network connectivity issues and home user connectivity issues, such as ADSL broadband issues.
Developing help sheets and frequently asked questions lists for end users.

To be a successful Service Desk Analyst, you will have the following skills and experiences:

Previous Helpdesk (telephone support) experience.
Experience of using call logging software.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft based operating systems with emphasis on Windows 10.
Experience with using and troubleshooting Outlook 2010, 2019 within a network environment (permissions, calendar sharing, delegation).
Experience with using and troubleshooting Microsoft Office with emphasis on MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
Basic understanding of PC hardware set-up and configuration.
Demonstrable evidence of influencing positive change..
Thorough knowledge of operations to include a good knowledge of IT best practices, industry trends and customer service.
Good awareness of software providers within the marketplace.

In return, an Analyst will receive a salary of 20,000 - 25,000 per annum, depending on experience.
