As a User Experience Researcher you also:


Have an understanding of the user-centered design process, including personas, task analysis, task flows, interaction design, and content strategy


Understand the strengths and shortcomings of different research methods, including when and how to apply them during each product phase


Are organized and able to work on several projects at once



What youll be responsible for


Generating customer insights on digital experiences for online and mobile banking, financial education, product information, tools, and applications


Supporting research studies led by Senior User Experience Researchers and our trusted research vendors


Planning, conducting, facilitating, and managing logistics of in person and remote user experience research (usability testing, mock-up interviews, heuristic reviews, concept testing,etc.)


Managing technical setup for in-person lab interviews


Documenting and communicating research findings to project teams


Working with project teams to understand business goals and identify customer needs


Partnering with Product Managers, Digital Experience Designers, Content Strategists, and Producers, project managers, and more



Qualified applicants may be asked to electronically submit research/test plans, discussion guides, and findings reports; there will also be a written assessment.







Required Qualifications



1-3 years focused experience in usability testing of digital (web and mobile) interfaces; cross- or omni-channel research experience a plus



Qualifications


Experience with a variety of research methods, including 1-on-1 interviews, card sorts, RITE, surveys, unmoderated remote/online research, heuristic reviews, and field studies


Experience with


Experience with standard research tools including use of Morae/Camtasia software, audio/video set up, remote testing and observation tools (e.g., WebEx, Go To Meeting, Zoom, Skype, UserTesting.com, UserZoom), etc.


Experience with the user-centered design process including creating and/or using a variety of artifacts such as personas, scenarios, storyboards, task flows, wireframes, etc.


Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy


Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills


Outstanding problem solving and decision making skills


Strong presentation skills


Knowledge and understanding of Agile


Expert in Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint


Thrives as an independent contributor in a collaborative work environment


Financial services experience


Degree in related field such as Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Information Science, Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology or professional certification including Certified Usability Analyst
