Country Sales Manager [Description] Responsibilities • To achieve annual sales target and expand Japan business coverage in oil & gas, heavy industry and EPC end users via new market development, new channel creations • Develop and implement business strategies for the sales growth in Japan by product and by industry. • Identify and quantify in the pursuit of all business opportunities by market segments. • Review current sales channels and develop a more efficient distribution network with high productivity • Expected split of the role in terms of account management and new business development is 50% / 50% • Cultivate, build and maintain strong & high level relationship with key EPC & End User customer. • Work closely with EPCs, end-users and design institutes to enhance influence power for key projects. • Interface with sales channels / distribution networks to help resolve problem to ensure overall customer satisfaction. • Closely work with regional business centers in China & Singapore with good writing & communication skills. • Implement agreed marketing strategy for the assigned region including product launches, exhibitions and other promotional activities.
Requirements • University technical engineering degree • At least 10 years of experience and track record of successful sales achievement, preferably in the field of gas analysis and other Instrumentation related industry. • Proven knowledge and experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, and industrial gas market, familiar with instrument engineers and key decision makers in EPCs and major plants. • Strong capability to develop and manage sales channel and distributors as well as mega project hunting capability. • Result oriented attitude and strategic thinking mindset. • Strong communication and problem solving skill • Willing to travel across the country. • Computer skills including MS Office • Fluent in English & Japanese
