The Regional Technical Manager will overall handle technical and warranty matters for all automotive dealer in SEA country. The winning candidate will work closely with General Manager and act as a technical head centre to control cost and ensure all technical and warranty are smoothly run. The job is bases in Bangna area and required 30-40% travel.
• Overall handle and ensure a high level of technical expertise and manage Thailand Bus product unit and Field personnel • Control cost and technical issue with analyse report • Transferring technical update to staff and dealers. • Handle technical campaign as well as update new service and safety service to dealer • Instigate appropriate action regarding quality issues including Argus and MQR monitoring and reporting. • Handle and reported warranty analysis results and follow up with relevant warranty departments on quality, timeliness and accuracy of warranty inputs. • Prepare and deliver monthly report to direct report of Region Thailand. • Exercise authorisation delegation in accordance with agreed approval levels. • Working closely with dealers on technical support, issues and development, including participating with Dealer Managers on customer visit. • Chair monthly service/technical meetings (clear agenda, minutes and actions) with strategicdealers covering warranty, campaigns, warranty scrap, parts issues, technical issues, etc. • Providing support to delaer and follow up for related issue • Attending the meeting of part operation • Actively member as APAC member. • Customer relationship development and CM reporting. • Ensure compliance with company Environmental policy, Quality Assurance System and Workplace Health and Safety requirements, and in general take any reasonable steps and precautions to protect or minimise harm to the workplace, its employees and the environment. • Responsible for writing and currency of Bus Service and Technical Business Process. • Support the Bus Sales team and GM on technical issues and advice where requested. • Ad hoc assignment
• At least 10 – 15 years of executive technical, service and warranty only in automotive and heavy equipment industry • Bachelor degree or higher in mechanical engineering or related field • Solid experience in technical service for automotive or heavy equipment • Strong experiences in mobility technical and warranty is preferred • Strong Interpersonal • Good English communication • Efficiency time management with customer focus • Computer literacy
