Head of Retail (Sports/Active Lifestyles/MNC)(TBB) [Description] Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing all aspects of store operations with full P&L responsibility. To develop owned retail strategy in the market in order to achieve both BRAND and BUSINESS objectives and to drive SUSTAINABLE and PROFITABLE retail portfolio & growth. To lead the development of retail marketplace distribution strategy. Develop a long-term retail strategy and set priorities to achieve company long term goal – to become the Top 3 global athletic brand. Develop retail expansion directions & plans to achieve brand objectives and drive sustainable business growth. Implement and oversee the executions of these action plans. Overseeing and managing the operations of all owned stores to achieve business target and set a benchmark in the markets to deliver premium and excellent consumer experience. Driving the operational standards, customer service standards, visual standards (including VM & ISC) according to global/regional standards. Launching marketing initiatives instore to hit sales targets and deliver brand messages. Key contact for real estate agency on site searching and lease negotiations process. Prepare and decide the business case for CAR submission. Develop retail organization structure to support daily operations. Develop and motivate the team, both front line and back office. Partner with HR to recruit, identify & develop talents within retail organization. Manage and decide OTB for owned retails for both inline & factory outlets. Develop and decide the owned retail product assortment plan according to global / regional DA for each market. Monitoring product availability levels throughout the day and replenish stocks to ensure 100% availability at all time. Manage owned retail inventory to drive fast turn, maximize GM and maintain a healthy inventory. Working closely with retail marketing team to initiate programs to drive traffic and sales. Oversee the executions, analysis the results and provide constructive feedbacks. Working with visual team to manage instore visual presentation. Work closely with global/regional to develop and launch DTC initiatives and programs, systems & tools that enable business growth.
Bachelor Degree in Marketing or Business relevant disciplines. Prefer 10-12 years in retail management field. Retailing skills – understanding of retail business, solid knowledge of retail math Analytical skills / Problem identification & solving Project management skills, ability to balance several simultaneous projects leading to a common endpoint
