The position is based in Clyde Hill, WA, USA and open due to growth in our Real Estate Development business unit and to support the continued expansion of our group in Greater Seattle, USA. As a Land Acquisitioner, you will be a highly valued and integral member of the land acquisition team, expected to make substantial research and analytical contributions that will help drive our investment decisions. In your role you will have the opportunity for direct communication with the company principals and engagement with senior management in all aspects of the acquisition and development process, including interaction with sellers and brokers.

Job Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, identify and source prospective land opportunities;
- Participate in the feasibility process coordinating practical aspects of due diligence such as zoning, title, third party reports (wetland, environmental, etc.);
- Prepare models in Excel to evaluate financial performance of prospective land deals;
- Provide all pertinent property description information, seller demands, terms, conditions and contact information to management;
- Prepare investment summaries and other presentations for internal Investment Committee review;
- Cultivate new brokerage and industry contacts while expanding and maintaining existing professional relationships;
- Ability to discuss, negotiate and verbally summarize potentially complex issues and matters, and to facilitate negotiations and work towards resolution, agreements and understandings.

Job Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, Construction Management, Finance or similar program preferred. A Master’s Degree would be a plus;
- A minimum of 5 years of experience, preferably with a home builder;
- Must have residential land acquisition experience in single family, multi-family, townhouse, condominium or in-fill projects and proven success navigating the unique dynamics of the Greater Seattle land market;
- Experience in real estate planning and development;
- Local experience is recommended and preferred;
- Knowledge of sales/negotiating principles and real estate;
- Highly organized with exceptional analytical skills and understanding of complex financial analysis;
- A valid driver license and insurable driving record;
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our Company for this position now or in the future.
